· Dawn Phelps, Alberta Health Services, 3 Cheers for the Early Years, highlights learnings from “What do Parents Want?” An exploratory assessment
 
· Graham Clyne, UpStart, discusses the importance of re-evaluating the way we design parenting programs, and presents findings on UpStart’s 2009 Status Report on Children and Youth in Calgary
  
· Dr. J. Douglas Willms, University of New Brunswick, presents recent findings from Canada’s National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth about the roles of families, neighbourhoods, pre-schools, and schools on children’s early development
 
· Rosemary Reilly, PhD, CCFE, Concordia University in Montreal, provides specific, practical information to motivate, encourage and facilitate front-line professionals in their work with parents and families
