UpStart works collaboratively with 15 partner organizations to develop a neighbourhood strategy to support students, families and communities in Greater Forest Lawn. This collaborative effort led to the establishment of the Calgary Learning Village Collaborative (CLVC) – an innovative neighbourhood strategy that coordinates services to enhance student, family and community learning, health and connectedness.

In August 2008, the CLVC moved out into the community.

UpStart remains a strong supporter of this neighbourhood strategy by participating on the Governance Committee that sets its strategic direction.
